Selah Church respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, forms, giving, and text messages, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email, and phone number, when you fill out a form, RSVP to an event, or sign up for updates
- Prayer requests and other information you choose to share
- Giving information, processed securely by Planning Center through Church Center. We do not store card or bank numbers.
- Your mobile number when you text one of our keywords
- Basic website usage data, such as pages visited, collected through analytics tools
How we use it
- To follow up with you and help you take a next step at Selah
- To send event details, updates, and newsletters you signed up for
- To process gifts and send giving statements
- To pray for the requests you share
- To understand how people use our website and improve it
Text messages
When you text a keyword such as SELAH to (619) 404-2515, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Selah Church about events, updates, and ways to get involved. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messages are sent through our messaging provider, Clearstream, only on our behalf.
Sharing
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Selah, such as Planning Center, Clearstream, and our website host, and only as needed for them to provide their services, or when required by law.
Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to remove you from any list at any time.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Information about children in our kids ministry is collected from parents or guardians and kept secure.
Security
We use trusted providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with what you share.
Your choices
You can ask to see, update, or delete the information we have about you, or opt out of texts and emails at any time, by contacting us.
