WHO WE ARE
Selah Church
In the Psalms, you will often see the word selah woven into Israel’s worship. Its exact meaning is debated, but it functions like a worship marker, a moment to stop, take in what has been sung, and respond with renewed trust and praise before moving forward.
That is the heartbeat behind Selah Church. We are a new church being planted in San Diego to build a community centered on the rest Jesus gives. We believe real rest is discipleship, learning to follow Jesus by saying yes to him, surrendering our everyday decisions to his will, and letting his Word shape our lives together.
